Grocery chain Haggen replacing some Albertsons and Vons stores

Southern California shoppers may not be familiar with the name Haggen, but they very well may soon be.

The former small Pacific Northwest supermarket chain, staking a major claim on the Southwest, is opening stores in the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys, South Bay, Long Beach and San Bernardino County's West End.
